Register your IDE Asset on the Publisher Portal

Before earning, you need an official Asset Token to link your editor to your payout account.

Log in to the Outrik Publisher Portal.
Navigate to Assets → Add New Asset.
Select IDE Extension as the asset type.
Submit it for review. Once approved by our compliance team, you will receive a unique Asset Token.

Install in VS Code

Install the downloaded .vsix file manually into your editor.

Open Visual Studio Code.
Navigate to the Extensions view (Ctrl+Shift+X or Cmd+Shift+X).
Click the Views and More Actions button (the three dots ... at the top right of the extensions panel).
Select Install from VSIX...
Locate and select the outrik-1.3.40.vsix file you just downloaded.

Configure your Asset Token

Link the extension to your Outrik account to ensure you get paid.

In VS Code, open Settings (Ctrl+, or Cmd+,).
Search for Outrik Ad Network.
Locate the Asset Token setting field.
Paste the Asset Token you copied from the Publisher Portal in Step 1.

Start Coding & Earning

You are all set! Native tech ads will now appear seamlessly in your sidebar or bottom panel based on your preference.

As long as you are actively coding, impressions are counted in real-time. You can track your daily earnings, impressions, and eCPM directly in the Publisher Portal dashboard.
